World Atopic Eczema Day marked by powerful short film

The international dermatology patient organisation Global Skin has launched a raw documentary called “Skin: Our Barrier to the World” that gives an intimate and shocking insight into the lives of people living with Atopic Eczema across the globe. The Irish Skin Foundation is a proud member of the organisation since 2015.

With powerful contributions from people living in the United States, New Zealand, Colombia, Slovenia, Kenya, and Hong Kong, the burden, and realities of living with severe Atopic Eczema are presented as never before.

The film was released to make World Eczema Day which takes place tomorrow 14 September 2022.

To mark the day, The ISF invites anyone affected by eczema to join our latest SkinSideOut Webinar: Myth Busting: Misinformation in Eczema.
