The impact of skin diseases on well-being and quality of life can be far-reaching and profound. The ISF supports people affected by skin disease by providing access to specialist guidance through our Helpline, up-to-date information, running events nationwide, awareness campaigns and pushing for better services. The ISF does not receive funding or financial support from the HSE or government agencies; we rely on sponsorship and small donations to continue our work.
If you are into running, baking, quiz nights (or have any other interest!) consider creating your own event to fundraise for the ISF. Invite friends and family to take part and support you in the organisation and delivery of the event or contact us for advice.
There are many ways to fundraise and you don’t have to be a top athlete or world class chef! Consider us if you take part in a sports event in your community or hold a coffee morning!
Play a part in supporting our unique Helpline or help us to provide information and support. Talk to us about your idea, including promotion on social media, sponsorship cards etc. Contact us
If you wish to sponsor an event, exhibit, support our Helpline or fund health promotion materials contact us at info@irishskin.ie.
Consider leaving a lasting gift to support the ISF’s work with a legacy in your will. After you have taken care of your loved ones, leaving a legacy is unique way to make a difference into the future.
The ISF carries on the tradition of the former City of Dublin Skin and Cancer Hospital, Hume Street, which provided care and treatment to people with skin disease for almost a century from 1911-2006. If you wish to leave a legacy, contact us at info@irishskin.ie.
We are fully committed to the highest standards in fundraising practice.
