Nationwide survey of people living with psoriasis in Ireland.

What you need to know about answering this survey:
  • Everyone with psoriasis has a story; the aim of this study/survey is to paint a more complete picture of the lives of people with psoriasis in Ireland today.
  • This is a long survey; you will need 20 minutes or so to complete it fully. You may recognise some questions which were asked in the 2022 census (e.g. what part of the country you live in, whether that’s in the countryside, a town, in a city, or if you are in school, college or work). Through your answers, and those of others living with psoriasis, we hope to get a balanced and real-life idea of any issues that may affect people with psoriasis right now.
  • Whether you have mild, moderate, or severe psoriasis, and are 18 years of age or over, this survey is for you!
  • The questions cover 8 sections about different aspects of life.
  • The survey is designed to be answered section by section, one after another. Once you have answered the questions in an individual section, and moved forward to the next section, it won’t be possible to ‘go back’ to previously answered sections.
  • To make sure your answers are recorded properly, and to proceed through the whole survey, each question with a red star * needs an answer from you!
  • This study is an independently-funded advocacy initiative by the Irish Skin Foundation.
  • Participation is completely voluntary, and responses are anonymous.
  • Ethical approval for this study was granted by the St James (SJH) / Tallaght University Hospital (TUH) Joint Research Ethics Committee.
  • Just to remind you! You will need about 20 minutes to complete the survey. Try to complete it in one go; please give yourself enough uninterrupted time!
  • We would like to thank all who have given of their time to make this project possible.
