Introducing the Irish Skin Foundation’s new brand identity

  • 6 September 2018
  • David McMahon

We are proud to announce the launch of the charity’s new logo and brand as part of the evolution of our work supporting people with skin conditions and raising the profile of skin disorders in Ireland.

As our work has grown and evolved over the years, we felt it was time for a change.  The new logo is a fresh and revitalising representation of the Foundation’s values, making it immediately identifiable to patients, stakeholders and the wider public.

Our new logo echoes both the swirls of a fingerprint unique to each person’s identity and the curves of ancient Celtic carvings.

We are confident that this concept captures our mission to improve the quality of life for people living with skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, HS, rosacea, acne and the prevention of skin cancer.

It is our hope that the new branding signals our future direction to all those who use our services, and those who have yet to discover us.

The close concentric lines suggest a sense of embrace, symbolising our core missions of support and advocacy. These are balanced by crisp, contemporary typography signalling the Foundation’s emphasis on making advances in the science of dermatology accessible to our patient communities.

The new brand will be rolled out across all of our forthcoming communications, materials and publications.

We would like to thank all who have supported the organisation since it was founded in 2011.
