Launch of new Irish Skin Foundation QR code poster for booklets and leaflets

The Irish Skin Foundation (ISF) have developed a QR code poster with *QR codes linking to a selection of ISF information booklets and leaflets.

You can now download the ISF’s range of practical and independent information on some of the most common skin conditions, and SunSmart resources.

The aim of the poster is to serve as a suitable and environmentally sustainable alternative to printed materials. The QR codes allow quick and easy access to online versions of the relevant ISF information booklet/leaflet.

Using a smart phone camera or QR Code App on your phone you can scan any of the QR codes in the poster which will bring you directly to the booklet or leaflet you would like to read. This means the information is readily to hand.

It is hoped that this digital offering will be a useful for dermatology departments and GP surgeries and help provide people living with common skin conditions some practical information using QR smartphone technology.

*What is a QR Code?

A QR (quick response) code is a type of barcode that contains data that can be read by a smartphone’s camera. This allows the phone user to access the particular information they scanned.
